How to make a Mojito cocktail
One of the most popular and widely available cocktails out there is the Mojito. There are many takes on it but this one is mine, you can add strawberries or raspberries to this for a twist but this recipe is for an original Mojito.
A Mojito is a mix of mint, lime and rum with sugar to balance out the sharpness of the lime. Some cocktail bars use granulated sugar mixed with the lime juice but sometimes this doesn't dissolve and can make your cocktail grainy so I like to use sugar syrup which is sugar dissolved into boiling water then you let it cool (very easy to make at home)
I had first Mojito with my girlfriend, we were out at a bar and I was stuck with what to have so literally said to the barman "Two of what ever my Girlfriend wants" I ended up with a Mojito and have been hooked since.
