Patatas Brava
A classic tapas dish - cubes of potato in a spicy, tomato sauce
ingredients
1 Potato per person
1 Onion
1 Tin of chopped tomato
Olive oil
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tablespoon of Tomato Puree
2 Teaspoons of Paprika
Chilli powder to taste
1 Pinch of sugar

How to make Patatas Bravas
Turn oven onto 200 degrees for the Potatoes
Peel and chop the potatoes into mouth sized pieces, remember these will shrink a little whilst cooking add to an oven bowl and once the oven is up to temperature, drizzle over a little oil toss and put in the oven
Chop the onion , press in the garlic and fry slowly in olive oil until soft and browned
Then add in the Tomatos (tinned and Paste)
Add the Paprikka
The Sugar
and finally add chilli powder slowly tasting the sauce until you get the heat you want
Simmer on a low heat until the sauce is thickened
Then add in the Tomatos (tinned and Paste)

Once the potatoes are golden brown, spoon over the sauce and serve
