Saving money on energy bills
I've been with my current supplier several years now, I was drawn in by the free Nectar points and a fancy app for my phone.
Now years later im on a standard tariff , still have the app but the costs have gone up quite significally. I used go compare to get my house and car insurance, so I thought i'd try them for energy comparison.
5 minutes of details keyed in (easier still if you have your current bill handy) and I was greeted with 50 quotes, with 25 of those ranging from marginally to highly more competitive than what im paying now.
The process is simple and the comparison is easy to understand, it shows what unit price you are currently paying and any standard monthly charges, then it shows what unit prices you could pay from a variety of companies.
One of the good points is it gives you ratings for each company, I chose to pay slightly more and went for one of the larger companies but the choice is yours. I even got a 3 month free now tv subscription, saved £240 a year and should be on a better tarriff fixed for a year but im not tied in should I wish to change again.
So there you have it, if you haven't changed suppliers for a while, click on the banner to the left and do your own quote you could save yourself hundreds for 5 minutes work! And whilst you're at it why not do a home or car insurance quote, I save £300 on my car too!
